Maples and Calder opened an office in Hong Kong in 1994: our first office outside the Cayman Islands. Since then, we’ve developed strong relationships with international clients doing business in Hong Kong and China and throughout the Asia Pacific region.

The lawyers in our Hong Kong office work closely with those in our offices in Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean. Many of them speak Cantonese, Mandarin or Japanese to business standard.  

The Hong Kong office practises principally the laws of the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands.
